1. Permitted use
RaiseRace may be used by approved nonprofit clients for lawful and truthful fundraising campaigns and approved skill, trivia, performance, fundraising, or community-voting contests. Users must provide requested verification and comply with applicable law, provider rules, and published campaign terms.
2. Prohibited financial activity
- Drawings, raffles, sweepstakes, lotteries, bingo, games of chance, chance-based prizes, or selling entries or increased odds through a donation or payment.
- Personal crowdfunding, political fundraising, undisclosed pass-through collections, unapproved professional fundraising, money transmission, escrow, pooled funds, or donor-advised activity.
- Fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, deceptive tax claims, fake donors or votes, self-dealing, chargeback manipulation, fee circumvention, or diversion of funds.
- Transactions involving illegal goods or services or activities prohibited by Stripe or applicable payment-network rules.
3. Prohibited content and conduct
- False, misleading, defamatory, infringing, harassing, hateful, exploitative, sexually abusive, violent, or unlawful content.
- Impersonation, doxxing, unnecessary sensitive information, unauthorized images or information about minors, or violations of privacy or publicity rights.
- Malware, scraping, credential sharing, bots, denial-of-service activity, unauthorized security testing, vote manipulation, collusion, or interference with the service.
4. Review and enforcement
RaiseRace may request information, restrict features, pause or reject transactions, remove content, preserve records, notify service providers, suspend accounts, or report activity when reasonably necessary to enforce this policy or protect users, clients, the public, or the service.
Urgent safety, fraud, sanctions, security, legal, or payment-network matters may be addressed without advance notice. Affected users may request review through the Contact and Complaint Process, but RaiseRace and its providers are not required to process prohibited activity.
