Memory Makers is important to me because Alzheimer’s and dementia touch far too many families, often leaving people feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and unsure where to turn. Through my work with ADRAG and Rotary, I’ve seen how much difference awareness, connection, and meaningful support can make. Memory Makers gives each of us a simple way to turn something we enjoy into something that truly matters—raising funds, bringing people together, and helping expand programs that improve the lives of people living with dementia and those who care for them. For me, participating isn’t just about raising money; it’s about showing families affected by dementia that they are seen, supported, and not facing this journey alone.
